Vieux Port campsite facilities:

Located in the midst of tall fragrant pines, this large international site has won top awards. It also has direct access over the sand dunes to a beautiful sandy beach, which expands for miles. There’s a wide range of facilities and activities available; by day enjoy the wonderful swimming pools and three waterslides. By night live it up at the bar or the weekly open-air disco. If you’re feeling energetic you can enjoy the tennis courts or the on sit gym, or explore the local area on one of the many cycle paths available. There are lots to do, on or around the campsite, with plenty of on-site facilities as well as forest, lakes and sandy beaches all within reach. For a more relaxing time why not have a go on the crazy golf course if its high season or even try your hand at table tennis. For the younger children there’s a bouncy castle in mid-July and August too. The nearby village of Vieux-boucau with its shops and bars is within two kilometres and there’s a tourist train which runs between the site and the beach regularly throughout the day in mid- July and August. Lively towns such as Biarritz, a surfer’s paradise, Bayonne with its cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, and San Sebastian are all within easy travelling distance.
